🎮 EMG Wrist-Controlled Paddle Game

Requirements:

⚡ EMG Electrode Placement

This game uses wrist extension and wrist flexion to control the paddle. To get good signals, place electrodes on the main belly of each muscle (not over bone or tendon). When using the right hand, use EMG1 (Ch1N (red) and Ch1P (brown) electrodes) for the extensor muscle. Note: The red and brown electrodes are interchangeable because the EMG signal is rectified (absolute value is used), so polarity does not affect gameplay, this is the same for EMG2. The reference electrode (green) should be placed at an electrically neutral point of the body, as far away as reasonably possible from the muscle being measured. Bony prominences such as the wrist are recommended.

Example 🎥 Demo Video

✅ FLEXION — Locate Flexor Muscles

  1. Sit with palm facing up
  2. Bend your wrist toward your body
  3. Feel for the firm bulge and place electrode there

✅ EXTENSION — Locate Extensor Muscles

  1. Rest forearm palm-down
  2. Lift your hand upward (extend wrist)
  3. Feel for tightening band and place electrode on belly

Tip: Let your hand dangle and flex/extend to activate paddle. You can adjust the activation threshold using the slider — increasing it makes detection less sensitive, while lowering it makes it more sensitive
